  5. Accessibility Statement
    5.1 Our Commitment
    mindhealthcliniQ is committed to ensuring that our Website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Because we serve children and young people seeking mental health support, we place particular emphasis on cognitive, emotional, and neurodivergent accessibility, alongside physical and sensory accessibility.

    5.2 Standards We Follow
    We aim to align our Website with:
    • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (and, where practicable, WCAG 2.2 AA);
    • The Indian Standard IS 17802 for ICT accessibility;
    • Sections 40, 42, and 46 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016; and
    • The Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) accessibility pillars, as a benchmark of good practice.

    5.3 Measures Taken
    We support accessibility through an integrated accessibility plugin that provides features such as descriptive alt text for images, adjustable colour contrast, keyboard-navigable menus, and clear, readable typography, alongside additional accessibility controls for visitors, including:
    • Multi-device friendly design: the platform automatically scales to work on mobile phones, tablets, or desktops;
    • Screen-reader compatibility: clean code structure allows screen readers to translate our text and images into speech;
    • Keyboard navigation: you can navigate through the Website using just a keyboard or assistive switches;
    • Visual adjustments: text can be magnified and contrast settings changed to make reading easier on the eyes;
    • Cognitive & anxiety-safe design: we avoid flashing graphics, sudden audio pop-ups, or chaotic layouts to maintain a calm, sensory-friendly browsing experience; and
    • Simple language: mental health information is written in clear, universal language that is easy to understand without overwhelming medical jargon.

    5.4 Known Limitations / Areas We Are Improving
    While our accessibility plugin addresses many common barriers, it may not resolve every issue on every page. True accessibility is a continuous journey, and we are currently working to resolve the following gaps:
    • Downloadable files: some older PDF brochures or toolkits may not be fully optimised for screen readers yet;
    • Multimedia: we are progressively adding accurate closed captions and transcriptions to all our video resources; and
    • Regional languages: we are working to ensure our translated Indian regional-language content matches the same technical accessibility standards as our English content.

    5.5 Feedback
    If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of this Website, or have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us at support@mindhealthcliniq.com. We will do our best to respond promptly and address the issue.
